Dahlia Tuber Policy

Thank you so much for choosing my small farm for your dahlia tuber purchase. I guarantee that we will send you a healthy tuber with at least one eye but please inspect it within 3 days of receiving it with any concerns and contact me immediately at Jessicabloomsfarm@gmail.com if your tuber arrives damaged or if you have any questions about it.

According to the American Dahlia Society, 87% of all dahlias are infected with a virus so on our farm we sanitize with a bleach solution for sanitization of our snips between each plant and a strict culling regimen of any visibly diseased or plants that aren’t thriving so that there are no outward signs of disease in the field to try to ensure that the disease spread is minimized and that you will receive healthy stock from us. Our farm is inspected by Washington State Department of Agriculture yearly. By purchasing tubers from our farm you are agreeing to and accepting the risk of disease and we will not issue refunds for plants that fail to thrive once planted. Please follow our Dahlia Tuber Growing Guide and tips because we cannot guarantee your growing conditions so we will not refund tubers that rot, are destroyed by pests or weather.

Here on the farm we do everything systematically to ensure proper varieties are labeled and stored correctly, we do not use any machinery, they are individually labeled and handled by me. That being said, things happen when dealing with hundreds of varieties, if your dahlia grows and blooms and it is obviously a mislabel please contact me so that I can correct any errors, whether in the form of a new tuber sent when available or store credit/refund.
